I’m hoping to use this blog to keep a record of photos/sites we visit on our trip to New York and Canada.

As you can probably tell from the site design, I would like this to be quite heavily focused on photos. Rather than lengthy blog posts every day or two, I’m hoping to spend no more than five minutes, up to a few times a day, posting a couple of key photos with a minimum of commentary. I’m also hoping to separate these by idea, i.e. instead of “Our day”, there will be posts like “Statue of Liberty”, “Central Park”, etc.

So much for the theory, we’ll see how it works in practice.

Please leave comments on the posts, I will read these and respond to them (and be motivated to post more items!).

Our rough itinerary (if you need more detail, just ask, I just didn’t want to put dates etc. on this public facing blog):

• Fly Perth → New York
• About a week in New York
• Train New York → Hamilton
• Stay on Haldimand Road for a couple of weeks
• Fly Toronto → Vancouver
• Motorhome Vancouver → Taber, AB
• Motorhome Taber → Jasper and then back to Calgary
• Fly Calgary → Vancouver
• Fly Vancouver → Perth
