Stanley Park

Vancouver has a park adjacent to downtown (what we might call the CBD) called Stanley Park. It’s considered one of the best parks in the world, so we used our free afternoon in Vancouver to take a look.

There’s a little forest train near where we got off the bus. It sounds like a lawnmower.
Lions Gate Bridge, across the entrance to Vancouver Harbour.
I think this is what Canadians call a beach.
The Disney Wonder, one of three cruise ships we saw. There’s also a seaplane on the photo, they were coming and going constantly.
Totem poles!
A view of downtown from the park.
There is an enormous marina south of the park.

  1. Looks like a lovely park! A nice relaxing way to end your last day in Canada!
We pray that the Lord may protect you as you fly back to Australia again.
