Icefields Parkway

The road we took from Lake Louise to Jasper is called the Icefields Parkway, and usually appears on lists of the the most scenic drives in the world. Despite some smoke haze, it’s not hard to see why.

The road when we stopped for brunch.
The view from the passenger seat as we got closer to Jasper.
At one point the road climbs quite rapidly. This is looking back on the road just traversed.
The bridge we crossed to get to that point.
Also in the same spot, a waterfall which feeds the river that creates the canyon that the bridge crosses that the road goes on.

  1. We stand in awe of God’s handiworks,
You are so blessed to be able to see it all.
    Many reasons for thankfulness!
