Engagement Party

Last night was Reuben and Emma’s Engagement Party and Tiny Housewarming.

Now only 125 sleeps to the wedding in November (in Alberta).
Final preparations – potential daughters-in-law trying to prove their worth!
The Tiny House, all ready for warming.
I love this sign!
Detail of the Home Sweet (tiny) Home sign.
Two bite brownies and profiteroles.
Meringues – an Aussie favourite?
I love s’mores!
S’more lovin’.
… And s’more s’more lovin’!
A cosy evening in the backyard.
A great use for old pallets (I think the Canadians call them “skids”).

  1. Loved catching up with your posts tonight, Matt! Kind of made be a bit homesick for Canada! Enjoy!

  2. Great photos Matt! The fire looks so cosy, the baked goodies look delicious, and the Tiny House looks wonderful! Would have been a very enjoyable evening 🙂

    1. It was. Canadians seem to like their outside games, so we had Kubb, another game that involves throwing frisbees at something like a garbage can, and lawn darts. Lovely evening.
