Burger Barn

Annelise and I, together with a few cousins, went out for dinner tonight. There is a placed called Burger Barn a short way south of Caledonia, which was recommended by some family members. The serving sizes were rather large, and the variety of burgers and other foods were impressive. Unfortunately, the lighting was less so, and so the photos are not too great.

Dinner is served!
A Texan burger with poutine.
After dinner we filled up the gaps at Hewitt’s Dairy Bar down the road. It was another place which was not too expensive and offered large quantities – the line for ice cream was out the door.
Maple and walnut ice cream (top scoop) and Moose Trail (vanilla with chocolate and peanut butter cup). We just sat on the grass outside to enjoy.
Another beautiful sunset. Toronto got a lot of rain, while we only had a brief sprinkling and the vaguest hint of a thunderstorm.

  1. Burger Barn looks like a great place to eat at! Dad loves the look of those burgers 🙂 The ice cream looks delicious too!! …. Another wonderful day hey??

  2. Nice that you could share an outing with some cousins. The meal and dessert look great. A lovely sunset again as well. Two more days and you fly to Vancouver, with more sightseeing. Enjoy, and may the Lord give safe travels.
