Streetlight Church

This morning Annelise and I accompanied Uncle Rodney to the Streetlight Christian Church in downtown Hamilton. It’s run as a mission project aimed at reaching those in this area, who are often disadvantaged.

Downtown Hamilton – separated from Upper Hamilton by the Niagara Escarpment.
The church meets in this building. There is also a bus that picks up some congregation members.
Inside – still showing the evidence of a vacation Bible school project on the Armour of God.
Mingling and meeting after the service.

  1. Good on you for joining Uncle Rodney to that Streetlight Church.
Makes you feel like doing more of that here too, don’t you think?
We enjoyed our singing etc. at the Opal Nursing home again yesterday.

    1. We’re certainly gaining a better perspective on the work being done within God’s Kingdom, both here and elsewhere.

  2. That would have been an interesting experience! Nice to meet some different people, and also to see how this mission project is being run.
Enjoy your last 4 days in Ontario 🙂

  3. Something different than a church service in our churches I suppose. We went once with Uncle Andrew and enjoyed it. We’re still enjoying your updates, thanks for posting them.

    1. A little different perhaps, but not overly so. Was probably more similar to the other CanRC services than the MeRF service in New York.
