Central Park Run

This morning I headed into Manhattan early to get in a run around Central Park. It’s rather large, so this was about the only way I could think of to take in a good portion of the Park before we left New York.

I also took in a few of the sights that you may be familiar with if you’ve watched Disney’s Enchanted.

Subway station Central Park South. We really struggled to find this station on our first day, easy to walk past and miss it.
Columbus Circle, at the south west entrance to the park.
Dedicated running Lane in the road right around the park (which is closed to traffic at the moment anyway).
View across the Reservoir.
Bethesda Fountain.
The Mall: the only part of all the vegetation that actually looks designed and planned (even though the whole park was).
View across the Wollman Rink back to 59th Street.
